How to use this worksheet:

The following worksheet is designed to assist SIPA GovGrants applicants and award recipients with identifying and refining the success measures that will be used to measure the outcomes from your grant-funded project. These measures are used to assess the overall impact of the SIPA GovGrants program, and having clear, quantitative, and measurable indicators is a primary expectation for all grantees ahead of the execution of a grant agreement.

For applicants, this worksheet can be used during the preparation of your application to ensure that you have included proposed success measures in your application that align with the program goals and guidelines. Demonstrating a clear understanding of how you will measure the success of your project will help your proposal stand out, and will ultimately lead to a more efficient grant execution process if the application is awarded.

For award recipients, the worksheet can be a resource for the period between the award decision and the execution of the grant agreement. Often during this period there is a process of revision and refinement to arrive at project success measures that can be included in the grant agreement. Using this worksheet can help facilitate that process and speed up the time from award to execution.
