This week's launch of the SIPA GovGrants application process got the attention of StateScoop, a news source focusing on technology in state and local government.

The article was authored by StateScoop reporter Keely Quinlan, and included the following quote from Noah Kaplan, SIPA GovGrants Director:

“We believe that by investing in a diverse portfolio of innovative technology solutions across Colorado, we can push the boundaries of civic technology beyond what is typically possible in government, and ultimately make a tangible difference in how Coloradans interact with government.”

We are excited to see this new SIPA grant program getting attention in a highly relevant national media source. We hope to continue to build on upon this positive attention with the first round of SIPA GovGrants awards in the coming months and then the successful implementation of the awarded projects.
