Thanks for your interest in the SIPA Micro-Grant.

Last year SIPA received 94 requests for micro-grants and we were able to fund 35 of those totaling over $150,000.

The Mini-Library Kiosk initiative supports the Westminster Public Library Master Plan goal of increasing Literacy and Engagement in the community. The TLC Mini-Library can help extend our library’s reach to untraditional locations such as hospitals, community centers, shopping centers, and in our pilot of this kiosk - a recreation center.

Colorado Dept. of Agriculture

Help build a mobile app to enable veterinarians and animal owners to easily submit the required animal health data in order to transport their animals.

Town of Moffat $3,000

Digitize the following: 1) historical documents, 2) ordinances, 3) codes, 4) resolutions, 5) legal notices, and 6) board meeting agendas.

Colorado Dept. of Public Safety $7,000

Implement a new, online records management portal (ColoradoDocs) that works with our existing Google Drive system to organize and make searchable a vast wealth of public records maintained by CDPS.

City of Walsenburg

$3,000

Digitizing, uploading and linking Ordinances, Resolutions, Meeting Minutes, Agendas, and other documents to the City of Walsenburg website.

Colorado Dept. of Education $3,000

Preserve Colorado’s historic state government documents and to allow Coloradans access to a greater number of these documents online through digitization.

Improve website and migrate to Colorado.gov.

City of Craig $8,500

Develop an interactive trails map and mobile application for trail users.

City of Durango $3,000

To create electronic documents for the City’s tree maintenance logs, providing easy online public searchable access to Durango's urban forest data.

University of Northern Colorado $6,500

Make UNC’s collection of nearly 3000 southwestern and plains artifacts publicly accessible through an online database that is searchable and Google indexed

Move to a SIPA service  AODocs to help the City streamline our record retention by converting all paper records to electronic format.

Nederland Community Library District $1,500

Preserve shared histories from Nederland Area Historical Society and to make them accessible online.

City of Grand Junction $6,500

Provide wider access to burial records by making burial records of City operated cemeteries available and searchable online.

City of Boulder $6,500

Additional implementation support to transition our direct service employees to use a new, integrated case management system.

Wiley School District RE-3JT $3,000

Scan and preserve school board minutes and other permanent documents.

Colorado Dept. of Health Care Policy & Financing $6,460

Accessibility report, with suggestions for remediation, on the top PDFs and HTML pages on the HCPF external website, to facilitate easier access and understandability for a significant population of Coloradans accessing Medicaid and CHP+.
