This year, we received 141 requests for micro-grants and are able to fund 35 of those totaling $173,316.44.

$8,500 to substantially expand and elevate community voice through extensive ongoing engagement research using Qualtrics CX software/platform to collect community data.
Aurora Public Schools $4,848 to purchase thirteen voice-output communication devices, to support students with disabilities across the district to be able to communicate across the educational setting.
Aurora Public Schools $6,500 to support a consultant to assist evaluation of the HB21-1110 accessibility bill and develop strategies and initiatives for implementation at the district level.
Bent County Conservation District $2,944.44 to purchase equipment to place mapping data online and make it available for community members in the district as well as the district itself.
Carbon Valley Parks and Recreation District $6,500 to upgrade our website to serve our entire community, be fully ADA compliant, and easily accessible to all audiences.
City and County of Broomfield $6,000 to ensure access to essential community information for all community members that are contained in web PDFs and cannot be reverted/converted to web based format.
City and County of Denver $6,500 to reduce the digital access divide for the cities citizens who require ADA accommodations, enabling them to more easily consume city services and documents.
City of Alamosa $6,500 to provide equitable access to all current and newly created electronic documents hosted by the City of Alamosa.
City of Lakewood $6,500 to make PDF documents accessible to the public in compliance with ADA requirements and the new Colorado HB21-1110 law.
Town of Pagosa Springs $6,500 to obtain and maintain compliance with  HB21-1110 Colorado Laws for Persons with Disabilities by implementing technology accessibility on our website.
City of Wheat Ridge $6,300 to help us with researching and developing a project plan for migrating the City of Wheat Ridge’s domain from ci.wheatridge.co.us to WheatRidge.gov.
CDHE History Colorado $3,000 to digitize and make accessible 25-50 of our legacy oral histories featuring underrepresented people and stories.
Combined Community Library $5,000 to update the hardware for at least 10 computers currently running on Windows 7 or 8.
Dancing Willows Metropolitan District $300 to purchase a PA System for district gatherings and meetings.
Estes Valley Public Library District $6,500 to offset the cost of a comprehensive website audit and remediation project to achieve full AA compliance with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
Front Range Fire Rescue $3,000 to bring our website into compliance with accessibility standards.
Garfield County Federal Mineral Lease District $6,500 to comply with HB21-1110, as amended by SB23-244, regarding website accessibility and all related statutory requirements.
Genesee Water and Sanitation District $4,850 to facilitate migration and updating of the existing website to an ADA-compliant, interactive website, on SIPA's colorado.gov platform, focusing on ease of use for our elderly customers.
Ignacio Library District $5,000 to procure one hotspot and two computers for use on the bookmobile, five hotspots for checkout and seven seven computers for in-library use.
Orchard City Irrigation District $1,500 to make all website content accessible to those with disabilities as required by Colorado HB21-1110.
Park County $6,500 to purchase a software package that will allow for remote Building permit application and plan submittals.
Prowers County $6,500 to update the County website to make it more accessible and will need to migrate to a new hosting company to do so.
Pueblo County $6,500 to modernize with HB21-1110 compliance of citizen-facing, and internal software tools.
Southeast Council of Governments $6,500 to utilize funding to build a compliant website on colorado.gov which can be updated easily from our office.
Southern Chaffee County Regional Library District $1,100 to purchase an Owl 3 conference room camera for use by staff and patrons in our newer large meeting room.
Town of Bennett $10,116 to utilize KnowBe4 services to train staff as well as our community to help protect the town from any potential cyber-attacks.
Town of Brookside $3,000 to scan, and digitize thousands of historical records, making them freely and easily accessible online to both the public and City staff.
Town of Fairplay $3,000 convert vital paper Town records (Agendas, Minutes, Ordinances, Resolutions, Packets, Etc) into digital format for safekeeping and easier searching and sharing.
Town of Manzanola $2,050 to create a website to provide community communications and updating on projects with availability of on-line water/sewer bill payments.
Town of Mead $3,000 to make ordinances and resolutions more accessible to the general public.
Town of Nederland $3,000 to contract work related to updating and digitizing Town documents to increase accessibility and ensure compliance with HB 23-1182.
Town of Silverton $4,693 to purchase new OWL meeting equipment for the live streaming of public meetings to the community and beyond.
Upper Thompson Sanitation District $5,000 to hire Cob-Web Creations to bring its website into full compliance with Colorado HB 21-1110 to make it accessible for those with disabilities.
Vail Police Department $5,650 to migrate civilian officers from a paper-based to an e/ticketing system and to implement an online payment portal for digitally-transacted and tap-and-go credit card payments.
West Fort Collins Water District $3,465 to digitize customer records to modernize, efficiently serve, and provide security for the WFC Water District community.
